For many years now I have signed my notes "stay connected, or connected at the heart"
It has become my central theme of "doing life". It came out of a time of learning what an abundant life looked like. John 15:4-5 "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing" I am trying to learn how to stay connected to The Spirit of God through intimacy. As a branch connects to a tree, then fruit grows. When I am disconnected, nothings grows. Apart from God I can not grow into the person God has intended me to be. Without staying connected to Him, I can gain the whole world but lose my soul.
Spiritual growth is simply this: Stay connected to the Spirit moment by moment, and He will do the rest. FRUIT: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (well, you can't have them all???) Just focus on one thing; Stay connected-fruit happens. Have a Faith-filled, fruitful day. become all God has intended!!!! Stay connected and willing!!! Fruit will happen. kim
