The Now Season

Hey Girls!!! Thanks for a great God-ordained evening of getting to know each other in deeper ways. Thanks to Pastor John for giving us so much to think and pray on this week about our "Now Season". Ecc 3:1-8 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven... I am convinced that those eight verses give us a picture of what we must walk through in order to become intimate and know the Fathers heart.
I think about the springtime, the awakening of life, the warm breath of the spring thaw, the flowers open and the air is fresh with new life. The Lord is actively and tangibly revealing Himself. I can't get enough time alone with Him. Fresh Words, new revelations and unexpected blessings. We tell Him every detail about ourselves, (as if He didn't already know) we share our hopes and dreams, the fragrance of our conversations are sweet. (Psalm 25:14) We feel known and desire to know Him more. Springtime: a time for planting. New journeys begin, seeds are planted, watered and growth begins. Lets slow down and embrace our Now Season. Let us be ready and prepared for greater things. Lets look for opportunities to bless others. Lets be careful not to miss out on the very things that God has called us to, today. Remember that God is in the midst of "the Now." God has great and mighty things. This "Now season" is not forever, but it is for Now, and God is right in the middle of it.
So lets worship with thankful, grateful hearts. And remember that our destiny is not in the next season, it is in the "Now Season" Jerem 29:11 God knows the plans He has for you--and He knows how to get you there.
Our fulfillment will probably come in a season when we least expect it. There is a reason for the season, and a lesson in the season. Lets learn to live today with our hands open so that God can remove certain things and add others. So we can learn to live "It is well, it is well with my soul."
stay connected, my dear friends, kim
